2 Day Tour To Tokoku Matsushima
Matsushima Bay is dotted with around 260 small, pine-covered islands and is considered one of Japan's three big scenic views - all on the sea, the others being Miyajima Island in Hiroshima and Amanohashidate in Kyoto prefecture.
There are sightseeing cruises on the bay lasting about an hour run by Marubun Matsushima Kisen and a regular ferry service between Matsushima and Shiogama
Day 1: Departure from home country
Day 2: Arrival / Matsushima
In the early morning tourists take express train from Ueno to Fukushima. Arriving Fukushima they go to Matsushima Bay and take lunch at the rest house Kanrantei from which they can loot at the nice view of Matsushima Bay. Then they go to Zuiganji temple where various items related withfamous Samurai Masamune Date are exhibited. Matsushima is also famous for oyster. They can eat fresh oyster just collected from the sea. In the evening they take the train to Ueno.
